Chelsea Durrah
Owner and Instructor
Chelsea Durrah, a voice teacher and choral director in the Upstate of South Carolina, believes that the inherent vulnerability of singing often leads people to adopt unsustainable habits that can adversely affect their voice. Her objective is to guide individuals through restoring the connection between singing and the natural intuition that the voice is intended to follow during vocal production. After earning her Bachelor of Music in Choral Music Education from Converse University, Chelsea began her current role as the choral director at both Carver Middle School and Mary H. Wright Elementary School. Upon discovering her desire to help more singers to experience vocal freedom, she opened Durrah Studios in January of 2023. When she is not teaching, Chelsea is actively pursuing her next goal of becoming a Certified McClosky Voice Teacher through their training program.
